Return policy
At Bill's Bike Shop, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If your new gear isn't the perfect fit, we are here to help. This policy applies exclusively to orders placed and delivered within the United States.
1. Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return for any eligible item.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, exchange, or refund, items must meet the following criteria:

Condition: Items must be unused, unassembled, and in their original condition.

Packaging: Must include all original tags, packaging, manuals, and accessories (e.g., bicycle frames must be in the original box, clothing must not be worn or washed).

Non-Returnable Items: * Items that have been assembled, installed, or ridden (e.g., used tires, chains, or assembled bikes).

Customized or personalized products (unless they arrive defective).

Gift cards.

3. Return Process
To ensure your return is processed quickly at our California facility, please follow these steps:

Request Authorization: Email us at info@billsbikeshop.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

Receive RMA: Once approved, we will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and our California warehouse address.

Ship the Item: Securely package the product. You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (defective or incorrect item).

Tracking: We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit to our warehouse.

4. Refunds

Inspection: Once we receive your return, please allow 3–5 business days for inspection.

Payment Method: Approved refunds will be credited back to your original PayPal account.

Timeline: PayPal refunds typically reflect in your account within 5–7 business days after processing.

Restocking Fee: Items returned in non-original condition (e.g., damaged box, missing parts) may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
5. Exchanges
If you need a different size or model, the fastest way is to return your original item for a refund and place a new order. If you prefer a direct exchange, please note this in your initial email to us.
6. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide photos of the damage and the shipping label.

For confirmed errors or defects, we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label and issue a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
7. Warranty Claims
Many of our bicycles and parts come with a manufacturer’s warranty. If you experience a mechanical failure after use, please contact us at info@billsbikeshop.com. We will assist you in coordinating with the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
